Worked from 8:30-4:00, youth group from 6:15-9:30
This week was a huge week for me! I spoke for my first two times for the summer! Sunday went really really well and I spoke on reverence and tonight I spoke on encouragement. I was really happy with both opportunites I had to speak and thought the kids responded well. Sunday morning I was really nervous but tonight I was a lot more comfortable and ready to just talk with the kids. I am really glad those two times are under my belt.
Monday night was an all youth group event and it went awesome! We played a huge game of capture the flag..well it was a bit different, but it lasted for about 2 hours! This week was really tiring but was a week full of learning and fun.
Spiritually this week was okay. I had a couple good devotional times early this week, but this weekend was a bit of a struggle. I continue to learn how important it is to make sure you make those a priority at the very beginning of the day.

I'm so glad your sermons went well! I know you worked hard on them and had lots of prep time devoted to them, so I'm glad your hard work paid off! And I'm sure God is showing you the importance of spending time with Him everyday! He's showing me that! I'm finding that when I make time for Him, I'm less stressed, God blesses my time and provides for me in more ways than I realize.
